WhatsApp Pay Cashback Offers To Use UPI Payments

Just a few weeks ago, WhatsApp announced a new cashback option for UPI payments. According to the report from WABetaInfo WhatsApp is currently building the service for beta users.

UPI payments are the most used method for wireless transactions in the subcontinent. it’s clear that WhatsApp intends to increase the number of users to utilize WhatsApp payments over other applications like PhonePe, GPay, and Paytm. Users can earn Rs255 cashback by sending funds to 5 contacts.

To begin, UPI stands for unified payments interface. This lets you transfer funds straight from the account you have to the other UPI ID. This eliminates the hassle and waits time that customers must endure during bank-to-bank transfers.

We’re not sure if the Cashback feature available to new users will be a permanent feature however, it is likely that it is a trial offer. WABetaInfo has also said the fact that “there is no option to make cashback available in the event that you have a WhatsApp account isn’t included in their campaign to promote the app We don’t know the method by which WhatsApp decides who is eligible to use the feature.

We can tell you that there is a high chance of gaining access to this feature if you’re using the most recent version of WhatsApp beta on Android available on Store or the Play Store and the WhatsApp beta version for iOS available on TestFlight.”

What do you think about this? Are you going to start using WhatsApp payments or are you sticking to the app you use the most? Tell us in the comment section below.
