After a series of leaked information, Rockstar has officially revealed the Remastered edition of their Grand Theft Auto (GTA) trilogy.
The collection will comprise GTA III, GTA: Vice City, and GTA: San Andreas.
Each game will have visual enhancements while maintaining the original appearance.
Rockstar has also stated they will launch on Android along with iOS during the initial quarter of 2022.
Thankfully, we don’t have to wait for that for too long when the GTA collection will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and the Rockstar Games Launcher on PC in the coming months.
While the company hasn’t yet announced the date for release and price, a few leaks have revealed it.
Grand Theft Auto: The Trilogy The Definitive Edition Price
This week Retailer Base.com started accepting pre-orders for the game starting at $70/PS70 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series XS.
However, it is noted that the PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch as well as Xbox One of Trilogy are listed at $60/PS60. In regards to the price of $70 Chief Executive Officer of Take-Two (Rockstar’s parent firm) is repeatedly stating that the public is “ready” for $70 game prices. Rockstar is yet to confirm prices on its official website.
GTA The Trilogy – Definitive Edition release date
As per industry insider Tom Henderson, the GTA Remastered Trilogy release date is November 11.
The budget has been allocated to different marketing agencies and that November 11 is the date that was penciled into the calendar.
It is the most likely date to be the date for the online version of the trilogy.
Based on PPE, the Polish site PPE PPE, physical copies from the set will be available on the 7th of December.
The site also stated that the collection was only available on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, as well as Nintendo, Switch versions.
It is believed that the PS5 as well as Xbox Series X|S versions will be available next year, the same way as GTA 5’s next-gen version.
The release dates can alter, so you should keep this information in mind and take it with a pinch of salt.
Rockstar is expected to make an announcement about GTA III’s anniversary celebration on the 22.
The company also plans to remove GTA III’s original games from its online stores this week.
On the basis of that, it is likely that we will in the near future see the trilogy for sale either physically or digitally.
