Intel Alder Lake: Release Date, Leaks & Specifications

Published

on

Over the last few years, the market for CPUs has seen a number of changes and competition. The advances made by AMD in the past have been so obvious that users of power have started to research Ryzen power CPUs as their next laptop over Intel ones.

Apple’s decision to switch its MacBook over Kindle to its custom-designed M1 was also a huge loss to the competition. Dell does not have the Monopoly that was the norm just a few years ago. Dell is now required to compete more effectively and provide better cost-effectively than before.

This is that everyone is looking forward to the new Alder Lake professors. This article will look at Intel’s Alder Lake Release Date and all you need to know about it.

It is believed that the Alder Lake flagship CPUs are optimistic since the leaked benchmark of Core i9-12900K Alder Lake shows us how much faster the CPU can be in comparison to its rivals.

According to the benchmark leaked its single-threaded performance superior to Intel’s Rocket Lake and 20% more efficient than AMD Ryzen 9 5950X. The multi-core performance is comparable to AMD’s top-of-the-line Ryzen 5000 CPUs.

The benchmark was run on a B660 motherboard with DDR4-3600 memory installed in Gear 1. The leak was released by HXL.

Intel Core i7-12700K Specifications for CPU

Concerning the Intel Core I7-12700K 12- Core Alder Lake processor, the CPU-Z Benchmark indicates up to 45% faster than AMD Ryzen 7 5800X. The processor will feature eight Golden Cove cores, but the Gracemont cores are limited to 4.

This means there will be 12 cores with 20 threads. The P-cores, also referred to in the Golden Cove, will operate at a base speed that is 3.6 GHz with a maximum boost frequency of 5.0 GHz with 1-2 active cores, and 4.7 GHz with all-cores active.

The E-cores referred to as Gracemont will operate at 3.8 5 GHz over four cores, and as high as 3.6 GHz when all the cores receive loads. The CPU will feature 25 Mb of L3 cache, with the TDP values set at 250W (PL1) and 125W (PL1) as well as 250W (PL2).

Intel Core i9-12900K Alder Lake CPU Power Consumption and Results on temperature

According to rumors that were circulating the Intel Core i9-12900K was able to reach 250W during the AVX2 mode test with temperatures of 108C.

This suggests that we can conclude that Intel has made a decision to share energy efficiency to compete with brutal force to compete with AMD’s Ryzen Zen 3 CPUs.

In terms of tests, the results of CPU-z reveal that Intel’s Core i9-12900K performs 20% faster when single-threaded and is in close proximity in performance with AMD Ryzen 9 5950X.

In Cinebench R20 which is out, Cinebench R20, Alder Lake continues to offer more performance and the performance improvement of 20% in multi-threaded and single-threaded benchmarks.

The leaked benchmarks offer an assurance that Intel’s Alder Lake CPUs will have an impressive amount of performance, particularly in the single-threaded area. But, the extreme temperatures observed in the test are an issue to be worried about.

We should be hopeful that nothing disastrous occurs and that we can trust that Alder Lake chips can provide high power.

Alder Lake Release Date

The company hasn’t yet revealed the exact date of when it will be when it be that the Intel Alder Lake processors will launch, at the CES media conference Intel stated that Alder Lake chips will be available within the second part of 2021.

In the context of that, the second part of 2021 will begin in July and run through December. Since October, all kinds of announcements haven’t occurred. We can anticipate seeing Intel Alder Lake processors will arrive in December 2021.

In a webcast, Intel has announced the Intel Innovation event will be held from 27 to 28 October. They are hinting it is likely that ALdere Lake processors will be revealed during this event. Although the processor will be unveiled, we won’t be able to buy it immediately.

The leaks and rumors suggest the possibility that the newest generation of Intel Processors, the Alder lake, will launch on the 19th of November, 2021. Since the data is based on leaks and rumors, however, we cannot say whether it’s true or not therefore it is advised to take leaks and speculations with a pinch of salt.
